Fantasy Baseball Recap Part 2

25-48 Picks

25. Nomar Garciaparra- WOW first shortstop to go since Tejada. Although he's suppose to be one of the best Offensive Shortstops he hasnt proven himself in Chicago.
26. Mark Prior- He can be better than Santana, Randy Johnson (today) and Tim Hudson if Healthy. Thats the type of odds I want in my second SP. Can be a First SP on other teams.
27. Pedro Martinez- He is a great Pitcher when Healthy. Whats with the pitchers today (Johnson, prior, pedro all on the bend). We'll see how well he can turn it up on the Mets team. He is picked quite late but with the injuries he should be picked in the fourth round.
28. Hank Blalock- Nice upcoming hitter, relatively no-name brand but does have the power numbers to back him up. Other choices out there though.
29. Marcus Giles- Wow no one would have taken him this early awhile ago. Althogh position scarcity scares and thus this Second Basemen is chosen this early.
30. Derek Jeter- He has been a great defensive player all his life. However, he can't hit 40 homeruns and sometimes steal a lot of bases but not recently. I really hate Jeter.
31. Eric Chavez- Wow this great 3b is the heart and soul of the Oakland A's. Great power numbers and will continue to produce, Travis picked him in his spot but he could use a pitcher.
32. Mariano Rivera- Was the #1 Closer until Eric Gagne, now hes pretty much part of the big 5 or big 7. Picked a bit early.
33. Mark Mulder- Wow snags a decent closer and a decent starter way to goo!
34. Roy Oswalt- Great SP very dominant picked in a spot and Travis needed him.
35. Roger Clemens- Very good SP and will continue to do well this year, Picked in a good spot.
36. Carlos Delgado- Excellent power but hes unproven in the NL. If he delivers he was picked late and a good choice by Barbin.
37. Roy Halladay- Wow this Bust is back in a Chin uniform. Unlike his injury last year he still has the stuff to win games for the Jays, watch for his comeback. This ace slid way too much.
38. Jim Edmonds- A great power hitter in a lineup with pujols and rolen, he can have a lot of offesnive oppertunities. May just hit around 40 homeruns.
39. Sammy Sosa- I am suprised at my pick here. I hope for 40+ homeruns and 100+ Rbi's, because if not I think this was a bust pick.
40. Brad Lidge- YIKES amazing closer with better strikeout tallies than K-rod. This is an awsome pick considering he might repeat those numbers. This could be the steal of the draft if he saves 40 games and strikesout 150 batters.
41. Ben Sheets- He used to be a guy always with a 4.00 era. However, hes an mid-elite SP with potential to get better, watch this Strikeout pitcher flourish.
42. Keith Foulke- A great Closer and getting later into the rounds where they'll disappear. Very consistant and on an amazing club 40 saves locked.
43. Carl Crawford- He is ranked amazingly high in other sites but he is pretty decent and did go late for his speed.
44. Magglio Ordonez- Was one of the best OF in recent times but has gotten sloppy with his injury and small hands. He was drafted in his spot for a spectacular injured player.
45. Aramis Ramierez- Wow I hate this Guy! Plus Barbin wheres your star SP or Closer?
46. Victor Martinez- First Catcher gone, wow someone values the prospect. Similar numbers to Javy Lopez
47. Francisco Rodriguez- An excellent RP but a better Closer. Should be valued earlier with the likes of Brad Lidge but post allstar did falter a bit.
48. Derek Lee- WTF?
49. TO BE CONTINUED
